Lines that Blur: The Beginning

Lines that Blur

In each of our lives we draw lines, certain limits to who we are and how we choose to live our lives. We draw these lines to keep ourselves in check, to make sure we never go to far, to keep ourselves under control. But what if the lines aren't always ours, what if we didn't define them, instead they were chosen for us? Do we live our lives based on the lines others have drawn for us? Do we accept that without questioning reason or motive? Do we even know where they come from, or that they exist?

Do we care?

I propose to you that many of the lines we draw are based on false pretense. That we've been deceived, and that deceit has led us to make decisions that we would not have made if the truth had been given. It's not a stretch really, the general public isn't difficult to persuade to one end or another.
Edith Sitwell once said, "The public will believe anything, so long as it's not founded on truth." This statement rings true, and once the veil is lifted it's hard to deny. We are told so much, so many lies, just to get us to conform to fit a certain ideal. The status quo must meet someone's standard, and we are merely pawns in that regard. We are moved, subtly, from behind the scenes, always being nudged to some higher purpose that we have no say in.
So, from here on out, I will share my revelations with you. Please, question them, go out and search for your own answers. If you simply take my words for truth than is it any better than listening to any of the others that wish to deceive? The point of these articles is not to tell you what to think or believe. Instead my only purpose, my only goal, is to help each of you reading to look at the world around you with new perspective. To get you to question everything.
There is truth hidden beneath the lies. All you need to do is search for it. Use my words here as a catalyst, nothing more. Find the truth for yourself, and when you do, never let it go.
